In the mood for a quiet moment? With an exciting book next to a cosy fire and the sound of relaxing music in the background? Then head straight to the library. Once established in a comfortable chair, you do not plan on getting up soon. That’s why a handy remote control is indispensable.

How does it work? An external infrared receiver or a keypad with an infrared eye detects the remote control’s commands. These can include the same functions as a keypad and with each button you can simultaneously activate up to 99 actions, such as: control the light, turn up the heating or set the fire in the fireplace a bit higher, close the blinds or operate the music.

You also use the same remote control for all audio/video appliances. You select radio, CD- player, MP3, or you command your Windows MediaCenter. According to whatever mood you’re in, you then select your favourites from your own personal music libraries.

The audio system can be programmed entirely according to your wishes. And naturally the music playing here does not affect what is playing in the rest of the house.
