With the RS-485 Communication Station, a large number of products can be controlled by the Vantage system. The RS-485 Station features full two-way communication with devices that use ASCII or Hexadecimal codes for control and automation.

RS-232 Communication Station

Since almost all RS-485 enabled devices use one of these two communication formats, reliable integration becomes an easy process. Components that integrate into the Vantage system through RS-485 include temperature sensors, phone access systems, touch screens, computers, and more.

The RS-485 Station connects to the system through Vantage's two-wire station bus. These RS-485 stations provide an easy and reliable control solution where space is tight and the equipment requires complex commands.
