Standard Dimmer Module/MDS8RW201

The Vantage SCR Dimmer Module controls all dimmable loads including incandescent and fluorescent lighting, magnetic and electronic low voltage, neon, cold cathode and variable speed motors. Fuse protected line feeds safeguard the module from shorted loads.

The Vantage Standard Dimmer Module controls dimmable loads including incandescent, some fluorescent lighting, magnetic low voltage, some electronic low voltage, neon, cold cathode and variable speed motors. With its eight-load, 40-amp capacity, this module provides smooth dimming over long fade times.

Fuse protected line feeds safeguard the module from shorted loads. In the event of a short, the module would remain intact and only the included fuse would need to be
replaced. Additionally, each module is self powered which allows connected lights to stay lit even if the Master Controller is removed.

Each module is designed to easily plug into a Vantage enclosure. All AC wiring is terminated into screw terminal connectors behind the module fitting in the enclosure. This feature allows the Standard Dimmer Module to quickly clip into place after the building has been finished, eliminating the potential for damage during construction.
