TheatrePoint integrates the complete home theater into the whole-home automation system. It provides almost every possible connection for home theater control and offers enough installation flexibility to exchange equipment without the worry of having the appropriate interface. Keypads, remotes, sensors, time controls and more, can be programmed to actuate components connected to TheatrePoint.

TheatrePoint features twelve infrared (IR) outputs and external receivers for IR pass through to control devices such as DVD and CD players, stereo receivers, and televisions.

Two RS-232 connections provide full two-way communication with audio/video equipment, security systems, touch screens and computers that use ASCII or Hexadecimal codes for control and automation.

Six Low Voltage Latching SPDT Relays provide relay channels for sending contact closures to equipment such as shades and blinds. Twelve Contact Inputs receive data from SmartLink probes, motion sensors, door contacts, stress sensors and more. On the 101 model six of these contact inputs are dedicated current sensing outlets.
